Why You Should Donate Your Used Clothing
Having an abundance of clothing is quite common here in the United States. After all, the typical woman of the modern world now has, on average, up to 30 different outfits. This means that she has a new outfit for every single day of the week. Back in the year of 1930, now nearly a century in the past, the average woman would have had only just nine outfits – in total. In addition to this, the average person of today now owns up to double the articles of clothing that someone living just 20 years in the past would have had. And most of us simply do not use all of the clothing that we own.
Getting rid of it is a good idea. After all, with up to 300,000 objects found in the typical home, most of us are certainly no strangers to clutter. This clutter can make day to day living all the harder – and should therefore be avoided as much as it is possible. Sorting through your clothing and giving away what no longer fits, is in style, or has been worn within the last half of a year or so
