You may notice a variety of issues with your ears, nose and throat and possibly a rise in depression or clouded thinking. Cell phones and cordless phones may also cause bioeffects. On the more serious level, EMF has also been linked to infertility and cancer, specifically leukemia, breast cancer and tumors. Children whose mothers used cell phones during pregnancy had 25% more emotional problems, 35% more hyperactivity, 49% more conduct problems, and 34% more peer problems

How to Lower the Risks of EMF

Practicing EMF safety with the use of EMF protection necklaces, or a variety of other steps is important when a person is exposed to EMF. If you are worried that you are around too much EMF during the course of your day, the following tips can help you lessen the risks from exposure and keep you healthy despite the high levels of EMF you may be facing. At night, you should turn off all lights, especially those in the bedroom or directly in your sleeping area, and unplug any electrical equipment such as televisions, phones and computers, that you do not need to use throughout the night. Turning these devices off directly at the fuse is preferred.

Install barriers in your home the next time you renovate by using a tougher version of foil that will revert EMF. You may choose to use fabric that wards of metal conductivity to shield you from the harmful EMF rays you are exposed to, especially those involved in cellular communication. In addition, sleeping in a bed and mattress that is metal free will lessen your EMF exposure. When rearranging your room, place your bed at least three to six feet away from any type of electrical outlet in your room or have wires installed inside of pipes that will reduce the EMF fields the room generates through the wires. If there is a clear and unobstructed view of a cell phone tower facing your way within a distance of about 328 yards, you are also advised to look into shielding solutions. Wireless phones emit radiation 24 hours a day even when you are not using them, so sleeping and spending time away from phones whenever possible is important. Using a cordless phone will also help. If you are still using cordless phones, the bases for the phone should be kept at least three rooms away from your sleeping area to lessen the amount of EMF exposure. Turn phones and other devices off when they are not in use in your home or work space. If you must use a smart phone, hold it an inch away from your face when in use to limit radiation exposure. Other electronics that cause EMF exposure are computers, lamps, television sets, microwaves, electric heating pads and gaming devices. EMF protection necklaces can decrease the effects of EMF on your body.
